Our MKP program is integral to our success, positively impacting the lives of youth and creating a lasting legacy. In Laos, many aspiring boxers often abandon their dreams due to the lack of financial support in Muay Lao. Recognizing this gap, MKP Gym strives to provide a strong foundation for athletes to pursue the path of becoming a Muay Champion.
Since our inception, MKP Gym has faced challenges, but in 2022, the McCartney family generously bestowed upon us a state-of-the-art facility, transforming our gym into a true home for aspiring fighters. We’ve been fortunate to receive support from various sponsors and the local community, with SKV Group standing as one of our most significant backers. With this collective assistance, MKP Gym has evolved into one of the largest and most well-equipped boxing gyms in Laos.
Collaborating with the Police Academy, MKP Gym is proud to have Bounpone Lasavongsee, a 3-time S.E.A Game boxing medalist of Laos, as our head coach and mentor. Together, we strive to elevate Lao boxers to the world-class stage, showcasing their skills and proudly representing Laos on an international platform.
